Sabani - the Okinawan version of the Polynesian voyaging canoe

This sabani was brought by a teacher from Tomishiro Minami High School to supplement a presentation given by Takuji Araki about the Hokule'a. Okinawan students reflected on the connection between Okinawa and Hawai'i--one ocean, one people.
