Aloha from the "Friendly Isle" of Molokai, Aloha oi, Ikeda Kiyoko-Sama, Thank-you so very much for you "heart" with "Hokule'a" and the "One Ocean/One People" Joyfull Sailing additude... You are indeed one of the many that has made a difference. Ikeda-san I am inquiring if perhaps you have a relative Ikeda Koji- I know Koji-san from past High-Performance Catamaran sailing and the earlier Olymic Tornado class racing that we campaigned together with. I first met Koji-sama in Hawaii, again thru Catamaran (modern wa'a kaulua) Sailing Competion. Ikeda-san at the time Koji-san was Flight Captain for the first 747's that started flying to Hawaii. Back then we were both avid sailing competitors... Koji was the Japan representive of the NACRA Catamaran, Hobie 21, and Hobie "Miracle", while also he was the best promoter and organizer for the future of the Olympic "Tornado" Catamaran competition in all Japan... Koji-san was part of the team that represented Japan with "Hobie 21" "Island-hopping" Competition in Tahiti in the 1980's. If by chance this "Sailing-Man"is you relations please contact me how to get back in contact with Koji-san... Mahalo Plenty from the Heart of BeachBoy/Sailing-Man (jmc) Iruka Saito.
